Coronavirus Update 20 Mar

The government and England Squash have provided new guidance that all leisure centres and gyms should close, therefore, whilst I know we cannot enforce this, we are asking all clubs within or adjoining Shropshire to close until such time that we given guidance that it is safe to open again. I would appreciate updates from all clubs on their current position and if you need any assistance please let us know. I am aware that some clubs have closed already, such as Shropshire SRC, Lilleshall SRC and Wolverhampton SRC. These are indeed unprecedented times that we will never forget and when we come out the other side things will never quite be the same. What I do know is that we have a great community spirit within the squash players and clubs in and adjoining Shropshire, so please support each other during this time in anyway that you can and if you need any type of support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to anyone, I will always be available to help if I can so please call, email etc at any time.
